Chronic Pain Relief in Grand Junction, CO

Stop Guessing, Stop Managing the Symptoms

Adhesion Release Methods (ARM)

Adhesion Release Methods (ARM) is our signature approach for people who are tired of chasing symptoms and ready to figure out why their pain keeps coming back. If you’ve been dealing with chronic low back, hip, or shoulder pain for 6+ months (and you’ve already tried stretching, massage, chiropractic, PT, injections, or “rest”), ARM is built for the cases that don’t respond to the usual playbook.

What ARM is

ARM is a hands-on, assessment-led method that identifies and releases adhesions and restrictions in soft tissue that can limit movement, change how you load joints, and force your body into compensation patterns. Instead of guessing where the problem is, we look at how your body is moving, what’s not moving, and what’s doing too much work to make up for it.

What to expect in a session

Every ARM session is focused and intentional. We’ll:

  • Start with a quick check-in and targeted assessment
  • Identify the primary restrictions driving your pain pattern
  • Use precise, hands-on release work (not a “relaxation massage”)
  • Re-test movement so you can feel the change in real time
  • Map out next steps so you know what we’re doing and why

Who ARM is for

ARM is a great fit if you:

  • Have chronic pain that hasn’t improved with standard care
  • Keep getting the same flare-ups in the same areas
  • Feel “tight” no matter how much you stretch
  • Want a root-cause plan, not endless temporary relief
  • Are ready to do the work between sessions when needed

Our goal

We’re not here to keep you dependent on appointments. We’re here to help you make measurable progress, build a body that moves better, and get back to living without pain running the show.

Ready to start?

Book an ARM consultation TODAY to determine if you are a good candidate and from there, we’ll help you get clear on what’s actually going on, what’s been missed, and what it will take to change it.

1. Freestyle Swedish Massage

Indulge in a classic and rejuvenating experience with a Swedish Massage, a timeless massage technique that focuses on promoting relaxation and enhancing overall well-being. Rooted in traditional European massage therapy, the Swedish Massage is a gentle and soothing treatment that incorporates a variety of techniques to provide a holistic and therapeutic experience for the mind, body, and spirit. Being a 'Freestyle' Swedish, it allows each Practitioner the freedom to bring the flow and style they perform best.

2. Customized Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic Massage work is designed to be more focused than your traditional Swedish Massage. If you are experiencing muscle tension or pain due to stress, work load, or repetitive activities, Therapeutic work is centered around alleviating the physical and mental load it takes on the body. Our Therapists are trained to assess your specific needs and goals and customize a session to provide you with optimal relief and rejuvenation.

3. Integrative Bodywork

Integrative Bodywork goes beyond what we typically view as a 'Massage'. It is a technique focused on targeting, unraveling, and correcting problematic patterns in the body causing pain and dysfunction.

Techniques that may be utilized in conjunction with manual massage and Trigger Point work include Neuromuscular Cupping Therapy, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Percussion Therapy, and Active and Passive Stretching.

This is a more assertive technique and approach and not suited for the individual looking for a relaxation experience.
